2024 RAFT Chili Cook Off

Thursday March 14th 5-8pm
City Star Brewing, 321 Mountain Ave., Berthoud CO 80513
+12 red or green chilis by Berthoud based individuals, businesses and organizations
+Best of Berthoud determined by People’s Choice (voting ends at 7:30pm with winners announced by 8pm)
+$15 tickets for sampling all of the chili entries and voting will be sold in the taproom the night of the contest
+100% of proceeds from tickets sales in addition to $1/beer sold will go to Rural Alternative for Transportation (RAFT) — a volunteer driver program serving older and disabled adults residing within the Berthoud Fire Protection District. In 2023 the volunteer drivers provided over 3,095 trips for clients into Berthoud, Loveland, Longmont and adjacent areas. This year RAFT celebrates 10 YEARS operating in Berthoud!
Think you have the winning recipe? Only 12 contestants will be selected on a first come first serve basis. Registration is open to local businesses, organizations, and individuals. RAFT will confirm list of participating contestants by March 1st. Contestant requirements are:
+Make and provide 3 gallons of warmed red or green chili and provide any toppings that accompany your dish
+Provide crockpot or food warmer and extension cord (label your items with your name). *max 1 crockpot/warmer may be plugged in per contestant at a time
+Submit contestant registration by March 1st via form at www.citystarbrewing.com/chili
+All entries must be at City Star Brewing by 4pm on March 14th
+Provide a server 5-8pm
