About

100% Volunteer Driven.

What We Do

Berthoud RAFT  is a volunteer transportation program that serves the residents of the Berthoud area.

Who We Serve

We serve older persons (60+) who need transportation assistance, and adults (18+) with disabilities who have travel mobility limitations.  We serve the 80513 zip code and the Berthoud Fire Protection District.

Who We Are

RAFT is made up of 100% volunteers who want to make a difference in the lives of those who cannot drive.  Volunteers schedule rides.  Volunteers drive their own vehicles on their own time.

RAFT is a charitable nonprofit corporation, with a board of directors with seven who serve without remuneration. They volunteer their time to assure the rural residents of the Berthoud Fire Protection District have access to much needed transportation.

Since RAFT’s inception, Rural Alternative for Transportation has gained the valuable support of local businesses, as well as regional grant agencies, as well as the wonderful support of the 100% volunteer team of drivers who donate their time and their personal vehicles, as well as schedulers of rides for clients, other volunteers, and board members.

If you are interested in serving your local Berthoud community, please contact us – we would love to share this rewarding opportunity with you.
